GAS/LIQUIDI created a series of prints based on a the word 'liquid'. We were then paired up with someone with a contrasting term. Eliise, my partner had 'gas'. The task was then to create a book that represented these two elements through the form/layout of the book. The 'book' we created ended up being quite structural/3D, in order to express a sense of movement. Eliise's 'gas' prints were printed on acetate, and rested on top of my 'liquid' prints printed on tracing paper. This represented the viscosity of our two elements, with gas being lighter, invisible and possessing a floating characteristic. And 'liquid' being a flowing state between solid and gas, with a varied transparency.
